This month, we’re incredibly inspired by Milky, a brave pup who has been through so much. Milky’s paw had to be amputated after a serious bone infection took hold. The infection was spreading, and the team at I Rescue Bali Dogs and The Bali Dog had to act quickly to prevent it from worsening. Amputating his paw was the best option to save his life, and thanks to their quick decision-making, the infection didn’t spread any further.
But Milky’s journey didn’t end there. After the surgery, it was a whole new chapter of healing and learning. And let us tell you, this little guy is determined! He’s been working hard to get back on his paws (literally!) and is slowly but surely learning to walk again on three legs. The road to recovery hasn’t been easy, but Milky is showing so much strength and resilience. His spirit is unbreakable, and every step he takes reminds us that nothing is impossible.
